Our Acrylic Frame Screws allow you to create eye catching "floating" acrylic frames! With these Acrylic Frame Screws, you can design customized frames showcasing special
documents, photos from a family vacation, or your favorite piece from a local artist!
Made of incredibly strong polycarbonate, these clear screws never yellow with age.
Installed into an existing or pre-drilled hole, they come fully threaded with both the male and female components included.
Application
*Important Note!
Our Acrylic Frame Screws are designed to allow for a picture, document, artpiece, etc; Meaning, if installed with only two acrylic sheets, there will be "wiggle" room and the screws will not tighten the sheets together firmly. We advise adding cardstock, or similar material, if using a printed photo. This will ensue that with two pieces of acrylic, along
with the image or document, there will be a snug fit
The installation holes can be laser cut or drilled into the acrylic. The actual size of the Acrylic Frame Screws are 1/4". While cutting/drilling a hole at 1/4" will work, there will be some "play" - we advise cutting the hole closer to .240" for a tighter fit.
Once the holes are cut/drilled; Simply thread and tighten
the male screw portion in the female thread, binding together.

1/4” size: binds 2 sheets of 1/8" thick acrylic
- 3/8” size: binds 2 sheets of 3/16" thick acrylic
- 1/2” size: binds 2 sheets of 1/4" thick acrylic
- 3/4” size: binds 2 sheets of 3/8" thick acrylic
- 1” size: binds 2 sheets of 1/2" thick acrylic
