Acrylic Information & Care
How do I clean my acrylic?
Cleaning your acrylic is pretty easy. For best acrylic care, use a product like Novus Acrylic Polish, or Brillianize polish. These products are made specifically for acrylic.
Never use abrasive cloths or polishes. A micro-fiber cloth is recommended for cleaning.

If my acrylic is scratched, how can I restore it
Acrylic is a relatively soft material, and can become scratched with frequent handling. Novus acrylic polish can help save the day!
- Novus 1 Gently cleans all plastics without scratching. Leaves a lustrous shine that resists fogging, repels dust, and eliminates static.
- Novus 2 Removes fine scratches, haziness and abrasions from most plastics. With repeated use, NOVUS No. 2 restores faded and discolored plastics.
- Novus 3 Removes heavy scratches and abrasions from most acrylic surfaces. Use when damage is too severe to be restored with NOVUS No. 2 polish.

How can I easily peel off the paper masking?
Most acrylic comes standard with some type of masking to help protect the material from scratches during cutting, shipping, and handling. The most common types of masking are film, and paper.
Between the two, paper masking is by far the best at making sure the material is protected until you’re ready to use it. This is why almost all of our material comes standard with a quality paper masking helping keep the acrylic scratch-free.

What's The Difference Between Transparent & Translucent?
Transparent material has the physical properties of allowing light to pass through without a large scattering of light - this means that you can actually see through the material. The exact amount of light that can pass through depends on the material, but remember that you'll always be able to clearly see through the material.
On the other hand, translucent material lets light pass through but objects on the other side can’t be seen clearly. Think stain glass windows, which allow light to come through, but you won’t be able to clearly see anything behind the material.
